am not really a writer. I just wanted to try being one

just want to share what I've written in the past. They're mostly about love though

I thought he cared

I once thought love was meant for fools like me
The way it touched my heart
It was always so abrupt in its beautiful demeanor
..and it flown so effortlessly…

One day it ceased to beat
When you left me
In the saddest of reasons
And yes, it weakened me so…
For I thought that with you
You’d never let me go.

Then I met a boy
Whose heart was shedding love for me
Engulfed me with his sweetest care
And tried to take me out of despair.

But who would have thought
The heart who was specially yours
would be shared for two.
In no better sense can you figure
That he can damage you.

The friendship I showered with love
His time and care notwithstanding
And yet it was taken for granted
Because of another girl standing.
She was waiting in plight
For she does not know what
He is doing when out of her sight.

I am tearful.
I am shattered.
I am lying on wet grounds.
I am hanging in mid-air.

I know love.
I know pain.

What I do not comprehend..
Is how can a bond shared
And a dreamy happiness
Be gone in an instant
When I thought he cared.

UNTIL THE TIME IS THROUGH

Days spent together
Was like years running past
The echoes of thy hearts
Go beating so fast.

Nights full of tears
Trickling down in the dark
Mind seems to go on circles
I am lost in the park.

Mornings that awaken me
The heart is still sad
Isolation is not the key
I am alive and I am glad.

Lying on the sandy beach
Watching seagulls fly.
Up and far reaching
Thy love shall not die.

Take me, Shelter me
Into your arms
I am shaken with fear
With you there is no harm.

One day, Somehow
The flowers shall sadly wilt
The clock will stop ticking
Gone shall the foundation built.

Goodbye. Farewell.
It may not be the answer.
But with time & chance in your hands
Love will not go away asunder.

I am here… with you….
Whatever strikes your heart?
I will reach out…
Until the time is through.

LINGER

Whispers of your love
Come paving into my heart.
Troubles go uncertain
It fades into the dark.

Your qualms go unwavering
Beget to fall
Time stood still
As I yearn for your call.

I linger, I linger
Your voice so soft and true
Calming beyond the depths
That’s the essence in you.

I linger, I linger
Your touch hasten me not
Fingers smoothen behold
Words prove enough.

Linger….

And reach for thy heart

Save me from misery

While we're far apart

By far...

Changes in time

In both you and me

You and I will always be

I guess the time has come

For our love to change

And love has flown away

...by far.

wrote this in 6th grade, just like the previous one

IN MY DREAM

Quietly...falling leaves of autumn cascade down

Tears in my heart disperse ever so softly

like leaves melting to the ground...

The spirit from within moves away from me,

... as it goes it doesn't make a sound.

Yes, I have loved deeply ...

showering him with passion,

almost giving myself completely,

but he fled away with someone new.

I kept asking myself, why oh why?

Then I finally came to realize that it was true...

that we were never meant to be

together forever, like we did...

in my dream.

PAINTINGS IN MY MIND

I see myself walking along a deserted beach

... all alone.

The wind touches my face

I can feel it gush through my bones.

I would sit on a perfect spot

to watch the sunset melt the sky.

Savor its enduring color

so as not to wish it goodbye.

I would think about the days,

the moments we both share.

I would feel a whisper of tears

just because you're not there.
